America Lawyer for the Southern District of New York and the Federal Bureau of Investigation have introduced fraud expenses towards the previous CEO of bankrupt cryptocurrency lender Celsius. Aleksas Mashinskis.
July 13 in a press release printed by the US Division of Justice stated she charged Mashinsky with securities fraud, commodity fraud and wire fraud for allegedly defrauding and deceptive clients about Celsius’ success, profitability and the character of the investments the platform made with consumer funds. However authorities stated they reached a “non-prosecution settlement” with Celsius, which “agreed to just accept accountability for its position within the fraud schemes.”
